Launch 2015 | Young Marketers' Awards | DLSU-D
Held at 1 Esplanade Seaside Boulevard, Manila on the 21st of January, 2015 --- The young marketers of DLSU-D attended a black-and-silver themed event.
As MEC became a part of yet another assembly, I compiled in this blog the photos taken on that said gathering.
Photo Collection
When people pose for the cam, they either portray a character they want to be, or show someone who they think they are.
I like catching people off guard. For me, I steal shots not to capture their worst faces to humiliate them or anything. I steal shots because I want to capture the natural moment.
Authentic smile. Honest laugh. Pure joy.
Another thing, I like taking photos of common people without that "x-factor". The kind of people that get intimidated when they see a camera. They got so used to other people taking their pictures at very unflattering angles that they don't trust a shot when its not them holding the cam itself. I like showing them a corner of beauty that only onlookers see. A stolen shot can be candid, but it can also show beauty. Not staged. Natural.

I also enjoy it when my subject suddenly strikes a pose... not realizing that while I am laughing with them, even though my camera is resting, it's still ready. So I get a kick out of those rare moments they actually strike a very confident pose, totally out of their comfort-zone, then click. Gotcha. ;) LOL
